Question SVG file format into Xara Pro 7

Does anyone know if the svg file format that is exported from Blender can be inported into Xara Pro 7?

The paper modeler maestro Rob Ives has a tutorial on his web site that exports from Blender a model in svg format that he imports into Illustrator where I would like to use Pro 7 but don't see it listed in the import menu.

No, no SVG import (that I see).

However, you can import the SVG into InkScape (free), export as a PDF and open that in XDP.

    Take care, Mike

that's also what I do and it usually works well [if you have illustrator you can do the svg=>pdf with that also]

    Thanks for the replies.

@ Mike, rather than install another graphics package it would be simpler to use (Cute) PDF printer driver.
@ Steve, I'm a Xara user and don't have Illustrator, so it looks like PDF is the way to go.

    Thanks again.

in my experience you can have more issues with PDF printers than with conversion by editor for this kind of work

you can run inkscape as a 'portable' application - you don't need to install it and make changes to your system

    either way good luck
