Xara Web Designer tutorial videos not viewable

I'm trying to learn how XWD works using the videos at http://www.xara.com/uk/products/webd...torials-demos/. I've viewed them before, but now they're not working on this PC.

Instead of seeing a list of available videos to the right of the screen-shot, I see a blank area.

If I click on on the category titles ("Introductory", "Selecting & Arranging", etc), instead of the appropriate list of videos appearing to the right of the screen-shot, I get a new window opening.

I suspect this is an IE issue rather than a Xara one, but does anyone know what causes this odd behaviour?

The videos work fine for me.

Have you tried using a different browser?

I have no problem with IE8 ...

just off the top of my head - how uptodate is your microsoft .NET ? - I have .NET framework 3.5 SP1 installed...
