Surely, there must be others who would like to tell us why they chose their Avatar‽

Rik the membership number includes every account ever created. Some are friends that are no longer living. Some are inactive because they are very busy people. Unfortunately some are Spammers and other banned individuals.

The active membership seems to have been represented as usual.

Mine is kind of a self portrait too, my gnurf character as a painting artist... my cartoonish alter ego, even though I see myself more of an illustrator.

I have had only two or three avatars, all created in Xara3d from larger versions I had done.

The current one, the spinning hollow earth, is one I am particularly proud of as it represented a lot of time and effort, and it also demonstrates just what xara3d can do.

It continually amazes me what that application is capable of with the appropriate care and attention. My previous avatars were variations of a spinning engine.

And you should be proud of that Mike. It's great!

Never give up. You will never fail, but you may find a lot of ways that don't work.
