    Default TalkGraphics Banner

    There's been some chat about TalkGraphics Banners so I thought I'd create one. This one was supposed to be a full banner, 468 x 60, but I made it 468 x 80 by mistake!*

    I've shown you mine, now show me yours!

    The URL is probably redundant since people are already there. But I like it. As long as it only does it one time per visit.

    That's very good beret.

    Back in April, I was doing something similar:
    http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthre...kGraphics-Logo

    From what I remember, I got the feeling that it was unlikely that anything at the top part of TG forum (web pages) would change.

    Mine were not animated and I certainly love the way you've done yours. Very cool indeed.

    @Gary: the banner is not supposed to be displayed on the top of this website! The purpose of a banner is to direct people here!

    @gray: many thanks!

    @Rik: I missed that thread - one of my many absent periods but, in the words of gray:

    Very nicely done! I've been thinking about adding a small TG button to my site. It's one of those things I haven't gotten around to yet but when I do get it done I'll post it.

    What I love about this banner is that the GIF (which I would have preferred because it supports live effects like drop shadow and feather) was about 300Kb. The Flash file, in contrast, is just 26Kb. A real phenomenon when you consider the animation has about 60+ frames!

    Looks great, it shows what the forum is about and is very eye catching too. Maybe some extra slides and fades might add to it even more, might not need it though.
