    Default Watch tutorial revisited

Hi Gary, I did your watch tutorial about a year ago. It took me a long time to complete but I felt a real sense of accomplishment and shared it with everyone. That was one of my big milestones in Xara. I went and revisited your tutorial and decided to convert it into a gold watch. I drew it as a gift to you as a thank you for all the wonderful tutorials.

Love it. Great job. Though how do you intend to use the chronometer and stopwatch functions without the extra two buttons?

    Hey Gary,

I think that is your problem, since the gift is to you.....:-)

That is indeed a beautiful gold watch paul, I remember that tutorial, as with all Gary's tutorials it was very good.

I'm going to have to apologize Gary, the same thing happened when I worked on the brakes on my wife's car. She too asked why I had spare parts leftover after completing the break job. so I'm doing the same thing for you as I did for her. Here are the spare parts that I had left over. For some reason, they just did not seem to fit into the watch.

I was going to say to Gary, "That was for all the frustrating missing parts in the tutorials that caused me so much aggravation". But then I remembered, those weren't his tutorials. Great job on all your tutorials Gary. I don't know about anyone else, but I continue to go back and redo them. As my knowledge increases in the software, I learned so much more from all Gary's techniques. Not to mention all the nuggets in the workbook. I use those resources continuously. All joking aside Gary, I appreciate all your contributions.
