    thanks - the clue really helped Rik, I didn't think at first there would have been much reflection either..

    this time - however, I am always looking for an excuse to visit Oxford, and Reading is only just down the road....

    I understand the Thames water is a lot cleaner than it was [until you hit the smoke that is] - perhaps Rik might like to take his turn swimming in it

    Steve: Reading is about 30 miles from London and I would not even think about jumping into the Thames in Reading. Let alone start swimming in it out of choice.
