Question about Pop-Ups

I have one question regarding the Xara Pop-Up option ... is it possible to get a pop-up effect with two different photos with the pop-up tool?

In the pop-up effect, the Pop-up photo has to be the same like the thumbnail!

Want I want to achieve

thumbnail = photo a
Pop-Up photo = photo b

Or can I only realise this with a pop-up layer for each photo?

i have done this using the layer method you talk of i.e link to layer on mouse over or click but to re create the diming HS efect i put a dark tanparency over the page behined the photo. you can use the new layer transition effects in and out +/- lock commands for added effect.

Like scruffy said, creating a pop-up layer for each one can be done, but I think you already knew that and are worried as you mentioned it above..

I'm guessing you have got lots of photo's on a page? If so it could become annoying with lots of layers per page..

As far as I know, it's fresh layers for each pop-up, which I have had to use on my site design to achieve what I wanted.
