I always used to do unkind things to my kid brother when we were younger; this tops them, I think.

    All Photoshop work.

    Default The Neptune Soaker

I created this about two years ago, based on a miniature keychain water pistol, only about 2" long.

Hopefully, I gave it better scale in my modeling.

    Default Pinpressions

I did this the hard way: I imported a hand object from Smith Micro Poser, and then aligned every stinking pint to the top of the hand object.

There's a Cinema 4D tutorial on how to accomplish this more simply; pity I found it about a year after I did this.

You may have done it the hard way but it looks good. I used to have one of those things but don't know where it is now.

If you really want a version that's smaller than the one I depicted, a little larger than a feature phone, Target always have them in the toys close-out bin for $3.

    Thanks, Larry!

    Default 3D glyphs

I did this because I've had a really nice picture font—Town Ornaments—that I wanted to try to make three dimensional.

    Default PIXAR rendering engine

I did this in 1998, when PIXAR had a program called Showcase, a rendering engine like what they use in animated motion pictures, and a friend at PIXAR gave me a copy. I think we've outdone this rendering engine in recent years, but I still have a fondness for a program that will no longer work. PIXAR doesn't make software any more, and Showcase was for Mac OS 7 and our ancient Macintosh PPC is more or less a paperweight these days.

    Default Violin

This took me several days, some of it modeling but most of it was lighting, and to correct peices here and there I used Photoshop a lot. Pity: now it cannot be animated!
