HTML code in button

Hello,

I would like to be able to place some HTML code with a button. When the user presses the button the code will take them to an affiliate site with the relevant info.

At the moment I have a placeholder with the code in the HMTL code body with substituted text
similar to this-

<center><h1><a href="http://www.pretned-website.com/pt/AIDLink.php?SUBID=**&BID=***AID=***" target=_top >Lets Go to the Site</a>

Unfortunately I do not seem to have much control over the accurate placing of the text with different browsers.

Is there a way to incorporate this code with a button? Hence more control.

I have tried to find a way with the supplied buttons but cannot fathom it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hello Again,

So to take it a bit further I can use HTML <form> to submit the link. Which is great but the button is rather plain. can I incorporate this in to a Xara web designer premium 7.1.2 supplied button or a custom button.

CSS is mentioned on the web, but I'm not sure how this can be used with WDP7

The placeholder is not needed. The link can be put into a text link or a button.

I really don't know if this is the right place to post, but -

I've got a problem I haven't a clue how to fix.

I have a button being used as a placeholder for html code (paypal) in WD 7.0.

When the button is clicked on a live site, it ignores the paypal code and goes to an XARA website.

Anyone have a clue what I should do or how to fix it so that the button is clicked and it goes to paypal instead of XARA?
