    Hello,

Native Shore Entertainment, a newly formed corporation based out of Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking a Flash Developer to build its internet site.

There is no pay in the position, but the developer will be given credit on the site and be allowed to advertise his/her services on it. This is a good opportunity for someone just starting out wanting to build his/her portfolio.

Being that this website is for a film production company, the interested developer will be given complete creative license to make it as hip and techologically on-the-edge as he or she can.

If you are interested in this assignment, please contact Louis Gurgitano at zebraplayer@yahoo.com.

    Thanks for reading.

If you're looking for a junior developer to do work on your site, I'd definitely suggest checking out a community college which has a multimedia design/development program. Often they look to place students in internship positions. The student receives academic credit for the work hours put in, and also receives work experience, while you get a developer for free, or pretty darn close to it (depending on the policies of the institution). If you're not worried about location, I can name Humber College as a place where they're always looking for placements for their students. This is their site. Dial their main line and ask to speak with James Cullin or Basil Guinane in the School of Media Studies and they could give you more information. There are loads of schools with similar programs, though, so if you're not able to hire someone to telecommute, you may be able to contact a school local to you and find someone worthwhile.

A word to the wary, though - make sure you screen your applicant just as you would a full-time hire, as they both need the experience with interviews, and you need to make sure your hire is qualified to do your project.

    Best of luck!
    hth,
    Deep (just a guy)
