    Default Text Width on Page

Hi there - I'll try to explain. I am rebuilding my entire site into xara. Most pages have big blocks of text that I am copying/pasting.

I want these blocks of text to stretch almost the width of the page.
I have tried two different methods - using the textline, and ctrl-V to insert and text box and copy/paste, etc...

Everything looks great and in place until I preview. When i preview (no matter which of the above method I have used), the size of the text area has been compacted to about 3/4 of the width, and moved toward the left of the page.

I gave up a while ago, in the interest of moving along, but it just looks horrible.:)

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

It's always good to provide an example file.

Have you changed the default text size for your browser? This can cause the kinds of problems you are citing.

Also, try selecting your text area and bringing it to the front (Ctrl f).

    Hi there -

I did try both 'moving to front', and enlarging my text view on explorer. Unfortunately neither worked -- thanks, though - I'll try anything else if you can think of something!

They look pretty much the same in IE and FF. There's way too much text.
