I think this one has rather a stained glass effect to it.

Hi Judi,
Looks a lot like the Tiffany lamps made with stained glass. I just can't decide if I'm looking down upon or up into the lamp
Which type of fill did you use the get the colours? Very nice!!

Thank you. I used a 4 color fill. It is actually one quick shape and 3 clones. The 2nd one rotated 30 degrees and the 3rd rotated 60 degrees and the 4th reduced in size by 50% the result is a more diverse looking fill.

It is beautiful Judi! The colours are so vibrant.

It does look like stained glass. I see an old european cathedral window.
Very clever use of fills!
Excellent!, Judi!

Judi- I've looked at your image about twenty times today. What I'm wondering: is there's some similar technique that could be used to draw a sparkling diamond? I'm going to keep thinking about that, perhaps even sleep on it. If anyone else knows how to do it please share. Sharing is good...
Thanks Judi, Ross

Thank you Risto and Ross.
I don't know about making a diamond with the quick shape, will have to play around with it too.
A few years ago there was a featured artist I think in the Xara Xone, who did diamonds that looked like the real thing. I forget his name, but maybe it's still in the archives. I don't think he used the quick shape, just many blends and transparencies. Maybe if Gary reads this he will remember who he is.
