lupen, you are correct about the photo shadows "show different densities", but look closely at the photo and you will see that all 3 objects have a very dark area under them that firmly attaches them to the surface so they do not "float", I am knitpicking here but that's the way I see it.

Hi lupen.
Like your picture.
I was so inspired with your picture and couldn`t to forbid myself to draw one detail. Beg your pardon.
Thanks again to all for your comments.
@Jvila: I am glad to hear you again. Thanks a lot.
@wizard509: I understand what you are saying. I attach a new version with 2 small dark shadows under the sugar bowl and the coffee cup. Thanks for your comment.
@RUSS_USSR: thanks for your hint. Very, very nice texture that give a more realistic (3D-like) effect (I keep in mind your beautiful works).

Luca - Are you using a studio photograph for your reference? I can see the umbrella strobe light reflected in the tea pot and two white reflectors on either side in the reflection on the tea pot.

@gwpriester: yes, I use a "standard" illumination, with 4 soft lights. When needed, I add a spotlight from the back to enphasize the objects edges.
@wizard509: only criticism can help to improve, so you are welcome.
