    No, this isn't possible at all. In fact, if you try any of the work-arounds you might find suggested on either forum, the program will self destruct, your PC will melt and thousands upon thousands of web surfers will breathe a deep sigh of relief

    You can play music in your website and also across all pages just like this:
    www.raintonline.com

    Is that what your looking for?

    Only put background music on if you wish to drive away or embarass visitors. It's just a bad idea. There have been a handful of situations where I have visited a site and felt music was appropriate and I'm struggling to remember them from the thousands I've visited over time. Generally music on a site is an encouragement to leave.

    100% in agreement! I really hate (I don't think hate is a strong enough word) auto music on sites, the same with auto playing videos. I had to do one on a site (just a particular page) and felt like giving the customer's money back. They are truly awful, give the viewer an option to play the music or not but have it off as default

    Like you, I'm a newbee. However, I have managed to add background music in the form of an mp3 called "LuxsBoogie".
    Here is what I did:

    Create a "place holder' (a simple shape). Select the shape (placeholder), then:

    > Go to "Utilities"
    > Go to "Web Properties" in the menu (the shortcut is "SHFT + CTRL +W")
    > Go to the "Placeholder" tab
    > Go to HTML header button and insert the following:

    <EMBED src="index_htm_files/LuxsBoogie.mp3"
    autostart=true loop=false
    volume=100 hidden=true>

    Obviously your mp3 or WAV file will be called something else (not LuxsBoogie".
    The placeholder will become invisible when viewed on the web.
    However you can add a graphic on top of the place holder.
    I added an animated gif.
