Tell me what you think about it. What you like, what you don't like.

    All suggestions are welcomed!

    Thanks.

    Welcome to TalkGraphics Ricardo

I have moved your topic to the Xara Art Gallery forum.

    I like your textures.

I like those texture/styles on the text. Good job.

The only one that doesn't really give me the impression of the stated object is the glass one. To me, it looks a little plastic because glass (to me) needs some type of refraction or transparent quality to really "sell it" as glass.

All the text stylings are usable, though!

    Nice job!

I agree with James that the Glass one doesn't seem to work for me.

My favourite is the fabric one.

if you rename 'glass', 'perspex', you will be spot on because that is exactly what it looks like....

The Gel is spot on, too.

    Thanks for the comments everyone!

    I'm still learning.

Glass has some properties: refraction, reflection, transparency, sometimes little imperfections (like tiny bubbles, impurities etc), light angle vs. shadow.
It's not easy to put all that together to create something that looks 100% real.

I think they are wonderful. The fabric and the marble have quite caught my attention.

I'm trying to create something that looks like cotton.

I used the "batik regular" font, contour tool (20 steps, 14pix, round join) and fractal clouds (dark and light gray).

I think it needs some contrast adjustments.

There's no transparency and it's all vector.
