    Default text not staying put

Hi i wonder if someone could tell me how to stop text from losing its justification formatting and shooting to the edge of a website please? It happens when the screen resolution is changed ie when viewed on a different PC to mine.

On my PC it looks fine in the browser, just as one might expect it to.

    All the very best Dave.

    Welcome to TalkGraphics Dave

I think this can happen when a browser is set to display text either larger or smaller than the default text size. I am not sure how you can prevent this.

Is your text in a text area, or did you just type on the page and use the return key for the next line?

Yes, this would cause the problem you are seeing.

A text area is an area first drawn with the text tool ('T').
In other words, using the text tool, press and hold the left mouse button and drag out a rectangular area. This will leave an area marked by a dotted red line, inside which you can enter your text.

A Text column, is similar. You drag a line with the text tool, then type your text on that line.
When you continue entering text it will auto wrap into a column.
