Cool Can a Fixed transparency be used in the Pasteboard layer????

Hi, would like to know if there is any way I can put a fixed transparency in the pasteboard layer?
Im trying to put a dark linear transparency on top of the pasteboard background, for it to look darker on the top. But it has to be fixed in a way that scrolling up or down wont change its location. Like in this page www.matthamm.com

    Any help is appreciated.
    Good day to all

You'd need to use something like this method (youtube vid) to create you background (if you don't already have one) and the Do Not Scroll Background tweak from the version 7 Tweakset

    Welcome to TalkGraphics Nelson

Why not simulate the transparent effect? There is no reason to have a semi-transparent background because there is nothing behind the background to see. And if there is, then fake it without transparency.
