    Default Cool Clock

I thought this clock was cool, so I thought I would share. It's just a basic black and white vector shapes and some shadowing.

My head is spinning. It is a very cool clock, though.

Very nice Paul, with the usual eye for detail. I like the shiny glass plate.

Very nice Paul. I like it, and would use it if it worked and kept the time. Actually I think that is one of the nicest looking wierd clocks I have seen.

Javier: Everyone would agree with you and I don't think anyone is saying that it's not a great drawing.
Some people, including me, are just having a bit of fun - just like the clock.

But, if it will make everyone happier, "Fantastic drawing, Paul."
Also Paul, you must tell me the significance of the number 10, where the small hand is pointing?
What is the reason for making that stand out more than the other numbers nearby?
Or is it as I suspected earlier. That it's what you were drinking!

Thank you everyone for your comments. As you can tell, I do not like just plain ordinary things. I am seriously thinking about building this clock and putting it in my house. I think it would make for a wonderful conversational piece. For me, the glass plate really makes the clock. It took me a little bit to figure out how to create the glass for the clock. As for the number 10, it has no real significance aside from adding character to the clock. Not to mention, my Xara clock will expand the number wherever the hour hand points. That's a nice thing about Xara, you can allow your imagination to run free.

Rik, as for what I was drinking, I do not drink, smoke or chew, nor do I go out with girls that do. My mind is twisted enough without any external help.

I hope my work will inspire other artists to post. I really enjoy all the different types of work that goes through this forum. I see a lot of great interaction and a lot of encouragement. I would really like to encourage the newbies to post their work without intimidation. We all start somewhere and TG is a great support system to grow your artistic abilities. Lots of support.

    Thank you everyone,

    Paul

Now would we do that? NAH. But, just what were you drinking or smoking?
