Default Does Web Designer 7 work on a Mac using Parallels?

Does anyone have experience of using Web Designer 7 on a Mac? I know I would have to run it through a Virtual Window and it might run slower, but does it actually work?

The reason I ask is that a friend ( who doesn't own a Mac) tells me that many of the features such as Flash Video wont work.

I suspect he's confusing an iPad with a Mac.

I have an Imac with Parallels and Windows 7. Xtreme Designer pro 7 works just fine so Web Designer 7 should have no problems either.

    Thanks Ted D
    I've ordered my iMac!
As I'm a beginner to Mac's, do you have any do's or dont's on installing Parallels, Win7 & Web Designer 7?

If you want to save som money, you could also try VirtualBox for free instead of Parallels.

Not sure why you want a Mac. Is it anything specific?

I have always used Windows machines because you get so much more of everything, except the great Apple design. I am among other things a professional designer and website designer and I have never had a client ask, what platform do you work on. The computer is a tool, and I always opt for the most tool for the money.

Yes, but what value the aesthetic of what you stare at day in day out?

It's just a personal choice, isn't it? How many company cars are function over design and aspiration?

I have used Microsoft products since 1990 and have grown to loathe them over the years. I've found myself replacing their operating systems in just the hope that things might be better. Windows 7 was great for 6 months until the onslaught of updates began messing things up.
    I must stop ranting!
I have run a Linux system this year without any problems but want more, so a Mac is the next stop.
