Lines don't snap to grid anymore?

In Xara Designer Pro 7 when you create a straight line with the Straight line Tool the line snaps to grid as you draw.

Afterwards when you re-size the line with Selector Tool the line does not snap to grid anymore. Yet Rectangles, Ovals and bitmaps snap to grid when re-sized with Selector Tool.

This behavior is very annoying at least to me. I would want lines to snap to grid like any other object. The workaround is to use Shape Tool (F4) and grab the points and re-size to grid points.

If I am understanding you correctly, it works fine here following your steps.

Make sure your line is straight and in vertical or horizontal position. Does your line still snap to grid? Mine doesn't.
It snaps to grid if the line is anything other than straight line and in any other position than vertical or horizontal.

A few monthes ago, I had a problem with the snap to guide too.

Unfortunatly I couldn't find another solution than to re-installed the soft, then the "snap to guide" worked again.

So look at the pic, do you do the same - re-size from the right handle?

Markku have you checked your Magnetic Snap Radii settings? If they are zero then snapping will not occur.
