New site just went live - circular menu

I just redid my site with Xara Designer 7. I was using one of the templates till I got all the new features figured out. Thought I would redo it from scratch and see what I could come up with...

Brilliant. Love buttons that are not rectangular. And the effect is perfect for what you are trying to convey.

Not sure I would have used the font you used for the site header though. It seems very frivolous and light weight compared to the rest of the page. You might want to look further.

I'm currently besotted with a font called Code Pro http://new.myfonts.com/fonts/font-fabric/code-pro/ that I think would be perfect for your header.

I always try and do something different for the navigation menu but end up with a fairly standard one, well done for that.

I agree - the font is frivolous and light weight - it has been my "logo" since I started business in 1997. It's on all my business cards, t-shirts, etc. The round logo actually came later... Usually I use the text as my logo and have the circle graphic as a watermark. I'm sure there is some rule about having two "logos" at the same time... but, I can't seem to part with either one...

Geez, Gary. For someone with a font issue such as myself, dropping that into the conversation is just plain cruel. Great price on the family too. Hmm...

I'm not a fan of the font used for the logo but I've read what you said on this and yes it was probably cool in 1997!.

One thing: on the 'portfolio' page you use the line "Not all clients need or what a new website" and I think you mean 'want' not 'what'?

I love the transparent bits of your background it looks kinda morden! The navigation is very attractiva and special. really good job!
