Adding Full-Screen Background

Hi

I have a large 2000 x 1150 px JPEG to display as a background that worked fine in Designer Pro 6. When I add the same image as a background in Designer Pro 7 it is automatically optimized to smaller dimensions with the word (optimized) in brackets after the file name. How do I turn off this auto-optimize feature and keep the image size the same? Thanks.

Please check your Options settings View tab. See attached image,

This setting will still reduce to image to a maximum of 1920px in DP7 'web' document.
This is wired into the Windows registry.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\XtremePro\7.1\Opti ons\Filters

To get the full original size you will need to first disable 'Document is intended to be a website' in the 'General' tab of Options.
Then drag your image into the Xara workspace and answer 'Import Original' from the popup dialog.

This will import the full original size of your image.
When done, re enable the 'Document is intended to be a website' in the 'General' tab of Options.
