SWF files won't go away

There are several flash (swf) files in the folder where I save my *.xar file. They were all deleted from placeholders many edits ago but they keep showing up even when I save to a new folder. I frequently get memory errors when editing or publishing and would like to get rid of the excess baggage. I have combed thru page after page and layer after layer looking for any placeholders that still might be associated with these files. No luck. Any suggestions?

When you add an external source such as an .MP4, .FLV or .SWF - Web Designer and Designer Pro 6 creates a support folder in the same place you save the *.web (or .xar) file using a similar name eg; name_web_files (or name_xar_files).
Anything in that support folder is uploaded when you publish.
So if you later decide to remove that .MP4, .FLV or .SWF form your page you have to remember to remove the file from the support folder too.
