    Download XaReg from the XaraXone.
    You can change this behaviour.

    This is how mine is set and works for me.

    Yes Mike, Xara Xtreme Pro 5 and newer versions have made the use of XaReg to change the import resolution redundant.

    However, Web Designer still requires the use of XaReg to make the change to the imported image resolution.

    Yeah, I had (still have?) a bit of egg on the face.

    No you do not need to download XaReg to make Web Designer work.

    Your question was how to make a change in how Web Designer works and you were given an answer.

    It is up to you if you wish to use XaReg or not. It is not needed to make Web Designer work.
