I can't upload an album

I would like to upload some of my Xara work, so I checked the FAQ's and there it said:

How do I use albums?

As a member, you can create Albums of images that are linked to your public profile. Albums can be created by visiting the User Control Panel, and clicking on the 'Pictures & Albums' link, and then clicking on 'Add Album'.

However, when I click on 'user control panel' I go to the settings panel, but I can't find a 'Pictures and Albums' link there.

What am I missing ?

Its some forum security measures that prevent new members from using album and private mail options, I think you have to post 25 times before they become available.

ok so I reached 25 posts, and yes, my profile has changed. I can e.g. send private messages now. But still no signs of album options...
