Was looking at the site you built for he reigns gospel, nice clean arrangement , looks great.

I was wondering what page width you'd used and if this would still load properly on the old smaller monitors? Im just starting out with Web Designer 6 and I've gone for the smallest page size preset, but struggling to get everything on! I like the layout of this page you've done though and it's the page width that makes it possible

Consider how many people in your target audience are using those old monitors versus larger ones. Small pages look lost on larger resolution screens. Presets are only guides and it's perfectly acceptable to have longer pages than will fit onto a typical screen.

The page width is roughly 1135 pixels for background which is non-traditional to web standards. However it is a good balance and it shows up well on my smaller monitor and bigger monitor perfectly Thanks for the comment I appreciate it. Thanks, Ive taken a look, great use of space again (U have a little typo on the design called 'blue cart' second line down, "sale" sorry to point out - thought U might like to know )

I'm using one of the wide screen monitors now and my old laptop with a smaller screen I dont hook up to the internet - so if you produce a page in WD6 which is too wide to fit the screen which you are viewing it on do you wind up with a horizontal scroll bar or does it just jumble up everything on the page? The only other web design programme Ive used before was an online one; when I upped the page size it looked just fine on a wide monitor, but then oh a small one! It just shifted any images that ran off the screen and dumped them below amid all the text, which then also didnt fit and half of that went onto the next section, shifting the rest of the images / text all over the place. It wasn't pretty! But if I just end up with a horizontal scroll bar for people viewing a wide page on a smaller monitor then I can live with that ... Do you happen to know how it would behave?

On a wide screen it will be centered. If the screen is smaller than the page width, it will have scrollbars. Everything will be positioned in the same place regardless of the size of the users monitor.
