    Default Rectangle curvature in thousandths?

Would be helpful to be able to use smaller the .01 curves at times for larger rectangles.

I am probably missing something and so I do apologize.

But cannot you resize the corner radius simply by dragging one of the handles? the screen shot shows your original and a copy of the rectangle with a smaller radius on the corner.

Yup, that works! Had my "show fill handles" turned off.

    Thanks!

Still would be nice to be able to just type in .005 in the curvature box though :-)

Hi South--actually you can. What would be nice (feel free to add in the dear Xara forum) is that the display of those numbers wold be allowed. As far as I can see, once the curve radius typed into the box, and enter is pressed, the display reverts to zero, which is itself not accurate.

See the screen shots. I typed in 0.0008 and the result is also shown following pressing enter. Now, I have no idea if the result is accurate, but one can do the entry and get a result.

The rectangle tool needs to be selected after the rectangle is selected. The drop-down changed to curvature.

    Take care, Mike

    Hi South,

Have you tried typing in your '.005'? It works, but it doesn't show in the value box, probably because of the rounding.
This should help, from the Help File (Xara Pro 5.1, your stated version):

    Millipoints

A millipoint is 1/1,000th of a point (1/72,000th of an inch). All Xtreme Pro measurements are stored internally in millipoints and then converted to the appropriate units when displayed. Dimensions other than millipoints are rounded if necessary. If you want to work in exact units without rounding, display measurements in millipoints.

If my memory is correct the number of digits displayed to the right of a decimal point is determined by your Windows settings.

Awesome! That is the answer. Never would have thought of that. Well done.

And I had always assumed that when it revert back to 0 it wasn't working.

Here's where the setting is to change for XP
