What do you think of the slick, sunglass wearing guy with the receding hairline, whose the the talkgraphics.com logo man. He looks to me like a younger version of Matt Lauer (Today Show) who was out in the sun too long. If I had to guess, the guy looks like he's more interested in babes and hot cars than computer art. Do you think he represents the male AND female users of talkgraphics?a

i think the point is that the logo IS the product of computer art/design. xara most likely, something not available for Mac.

as it stands this is one of the most straight and conservative forums i've experienced! personally i think it needs to loosen up a bit. finding imaginary details in a logo is not helping much.

Well I suppose if I had a place called talk graphics I'd want a logo that showed that visually. Perhaps two stylized heads gabbing with a computer between them. Have a circle, square and other simple shapes on the monitor. Just an idea.

However I don't think our talk graphics dude is as bad as you think. Perhaps if he'd had a wide collar shirt, gold chain and a tooth pick dangling off his lip you'd have a case

Yup, stecyk, they gotta be kidding.

There's far too little art shown around here. Thanks to you, stecyk, the place gets brightened up now and then.

Maybe if everyone put their nose to the drawing tablet, logos would be forgotten (which I try my best to do but they keep moving and driving me nuts!)

Anyone got some art to show off? How come?

I do.. for what it may or not be worth...

Thanks for the reponses to my pol question. By the way, while my opinions about the the yellow-man were genuine, what you may not have known was that I had a big smile on my face as I thought them AND as I wrote the poll question. Perhaps a smilely-face icon would have been helpful...I think I'll stick to learning Painter and refrain from polls from now on. Best to you all...

I would have never guessed it was created with a nozzle.

    Judi,

My top image wasn't created directly with a Nozzle. I painted using the Nozzle, then used the Dynamic Layers Kaleidoscope Plugin.

Sorry for not making that clear. Someone on the Painter Forum at In Depth Discussions commented that my "kaleido" looked as if it was illuminated. I posted the silly Nozzle image to show him why. When I posted it here, I completely forgot that I should explain how the top image was created.

By the way, does anyone know where the Profile link went? I've looked and looked and can't find it.. am I blind?

    Thanks in advance,
