Menu style edit does not change colors and Xara crashes and freezes

When I edit the colors in nav bar menu style nothing happens

and the program freezes most times when I try

I run xara in admin, pro 7

Is it a bug

I am very sorry to hear you are having problems.

I do not know why this would happen. Have you installed the latest updates? My last update was 19 April.

In the Help menu, select About Web Designer. If your version is not 19 April, go to Help > Update Program.

Have done that but the menu will not change appearance
I just simply add a new color in the edit but nothing happens

It is not my design, Its xaras nav bars I just want change the colors of some of the nav bars

Though if you mean some pages are to have different colours you will have to stop them repeating

Sorry that video does not help all
I add a new bar and uncheck and can change some
but it doesnt work with font color, border
why doesnt the menu pop up editer work

The navbar editor style only changes the drop down menu not the primary menu buttons.

I have same problem, none of the functions in Menu Style work for both xara nav bars and individual xara buttons made into nav bar. I use latest version of Web Designer 7 Premium on Window 7 Home Premium 64 bit

It works for the drop down menus only. The design of buttons does not require any dialog settings as you draw them.
Reading Help is also useful sometimes.
