circle outline color

Re Designer Pro 7

I want to do is make an empty (no fill) circle with a red border to outline an object on the page.

However I cannot seem to change the border color of a circle drawn with the circle tool. Every time I try the circle gets filled with the outline color I select.

I don't know how you are telling XDP7 to do the line color.

In a default installation, XDP7 will upon a right-click on the desired color, present the attached screen shot.

You can change this from popping up to a default of left-click is fill, right-click is line in the options.

You can also use the color editor and just make sure the drop down selection is for the outline.

shift+click will also set the line colour of an object
