    Well know thats not quite right, but yes they are used for marketing purposes and essential for IM to build there list to ultimately sell products to, I asked for technical knowledge not an opinion lol.

    As for them not letting them close your browser or hit the back button this isnt what all people or companies do heres an example if your still interested in what they look like http://www.*********.com/

    Lol you need therapy, anyone that does that certainly wont sell anything online so why worry there digging there own grave wuth them tactics.

    What i could do with knowing is how do i set a background that I can modify such as transparency and such but have that layer fill the entire screen so it fits all browsers?

    Sleaze page or squeeze page I couldnt care less when someones handing me 500 bucks to create one that takes about 2 days build in xara

    Maybe I missed it, but did you determine why the display issue was so different?
