    Default Newbie -- Format question

I have been doing web pages for several years, but have always used an antiquated program that based all pages on tables. Yeah, yeah, I know... but it is what it is. Now that I'm using Web Designer 7 Premium, obviously there aren't tables. My question is: I have a page that's basically a a continuing list of results from a sport. As each event finishes, I post links to the results at the top of a page, moving results of past events lower on the page. How do I add text at the top of a page without having to move everything on the page down individually? When using tables, I just add a row above the top row, but I have no idea how to do it in Xara?

    TIA!

    Welcome to TalkGraphics

Just make the text at the top separate from the other text.

Use Text Areas (drag the size of the area with the Text Tool).

So in essence you will have a smaller text area on top that will be updated frequently and a large text area that will grow as you add new links.
