Default Re: transparant background in Magix Photo and Graphics Designer 6

All blank pages in Magix Photo and Graphics Designer 6 are transparent.
If you are looking for the familiar checkered grid of raster applications, it's not there because Magix Photo and Graphics Designer 6 isn't a raster (bitmap) editor.
Unlike Photoshop, The Gimp, Paint Shop Pro et all are pixel level bitmap editors.
Magix Photo and Graphics Designer 6 is a vector graphics application that can work with photographs.
    There's an important difference.

If you draw an non-rectangular shape in Magix Photo and Graphics Designer 6 and export it to PNG True Colour +Alpha, then you will have transparency around the object..

I have seen some members use a locked checkerboard pattern bitmap on the page background to emulate the familiar raster editor feature, if this is more comfortable for you then perhaps you can can use the attached .xar page as your default document?
