In XDP7 is there a way to batch covert .xar files to .svg?
I've ploughed the forums and found nothing (but sometimes I can't see for looking!). Is there a plugin maybe?
TIA
Brett

.xar is not an image type. It's a container format. You cannot directly convert a .xar file to anything.
You can open a .xar, and export the contents to a supported file type.

While it is semi-true that one could look at the XAR as a container, so is say CorelDraw format and there are batch converters for CD files. At least once upon a time. Same with EPS files.

comes down to scripts does it not - and there is no scripting for xar files [much requested of course, but apparently difficult to implement]

Nothing lasts forever...
And or it comes down to a third-party software deciding there is money to be made, figuring out the XAR file format, and programming a converter.
Neither (internal or external) is likely to happen.
Take care, Mike
