Favicon removal

There's a favicon in a site I created in WD6 (am now using 7 Premium) that I'd like to remove and insert a different one, but as I probably didn't insert the original one properly I now can't figure out how to take it out. Any suggestions? Thanx!

If I remember correctly, in WD6 I just dragged and dropped (or copied and pasted) it onto the header of each (or most) page(s). I was a REAL newby then - now I've got a little more experience and have learned to consult "Help" or this forum before doing really stupid things!

You could, sort of, do this with some code, but what about the file? If you don't really know what have you done, how can anyone tell you how to undo it?

Actually, you may simply try to create a favicon in WD7 and see if it works, without trying to remove anything. If it not works, we may have to investigate further.
