Select objects on multiple animation frames

I have an animation that needs some text changed. I haven't figured out a way to select all the instances of an object in order to change the text, or better, find a way to change it once and automatically update all instances of the text. Can soft groups be used for objects in animation frames, similar to layers in a document? My attempt has created text boxes where some of the letters tween and others dont. A cool effect, if desired, I guess....

What version of Xara are you using?

I thought you might be able to use Find and Replace but that does not appear to work.

I believe you can change the text on on occurrence, then select the other instances of the text and Edit > Paste (or Ctrl v) to update the text.

But I don't think there is an automatic way to do this.
