Don't care for either default splash screen. I like the ones in this thread for 7 *much* better.

Decided to try and come up with something a bit different for the 'd' and 'p' in Designer Pro.
Also thought I would try something a bit different for the colour.

I think the word 'xara' would be better in the top left hand area, horizontal - and the shapes left uncluttered with it ...

but nice work

EDit - or make that on the left above designer .... even better ?

I had already tried the usual the top left corner Steve.
Didn't like it.
That's why I thought of trying it above the logo itself.

But, I had not thought of trying it where you suggest.
Yup. It's not too bad a place at all.

Now if it were animated, then then icons or stylized text representing primary capabilities of Xara could scroll across the bottom.

Thanks for your kind comments jclements.
But the problem is that the splashscreen file has to be a .bmp
If we could have used a .gif, then animation would have been possible. For me anyway!
