Designer Pro 7 - Splash screen

I wish I could make my mind up as to what I think about the new look of Designer Pro 7 at start-up,
compared to Designer Pro 6 ???



Was Designer Pro 6 a more professional look?

We all have our opinions, so, what do you think?!

I like it. I like them both.

Personally I think that DP7's splash has too strong an emphasis with the background striping and the icons (and the name Xara) get relegated to secondary importance. However, I also think that DP6's splash, while clever, missus the mark in communicating the versioning but the colors work much better.

So which do I think has "a more professional look"? Either of the ones done by Rik in another thread.

Which do I think has "a more professional look"? Neither but I like the new one because I wasn't too fond of the Designer Pro 6 splash screen so this new one is welcome. Of course there are things about it that bother me but all in all I like it.

Then again, one can make their own and replace the one the app starts with.

in version XDP7 for example, by replacing in program folder:

......xara > Xara_Designer_Pro_7 > bitmaps > splashscreen.bmp
