    Cool Atomic Bomb

    Crits will be welcome.

    Blender 3D
Fairly simple to create (if you know how!)

    Another very nice render Guss.

However I don't get the impression of an Atomic Bomb. Perhaps some darker colours within the clouds.

    Sure thing...
I tried to fix it post-pro, and i tried a new one.
neither looks entirely right (in my opinion).

Guss the lower part of your 800x450 png is starting to look more like an A-bomb blast. However the top portion seems to be concave.

In a A-bomb blast the ground level is similar to a torus with debris flying out in many directions. The upper level is an expanding torus filled with dust and minute debris rolling about like boiling water. A column of upward thrust dust connects the two tori.

    Wow!
Are you some kind of nuclear scientist or something?? I never new there was so much to a Nuke Blast! I thought it was only one big ball of radio-active fire!

For an atomic bomb, I'd have to see a definite mushroom cloud and I'm afraid the images aren't doing that for me.

You are getting closer but still not quite right. Looks like a fire inside a dark building rather than an A-bomb blast.

Have you looked at some photos of an A-bomb explosion? http://www.google.com/search?um=1&hl...qi=g1&aql=&oq=
