Default How To: Save File as lower version

Am using Coredraw x5 with sp2.
I want to keep files as lower version ( corel 12 ) for printing purpose on other pc,
but everytime change version value is irritating. after some changes, file change to x5 when i press ctrl+s.
Any way to configure coreldraw x5 always save files as lower version...?

    Thankyou...

I don't think there is a way to force CDX5 to always save as a particular previous version type. You can post on the Corel forum to make sure.

When I needed to do this I always kept two versions. One as the current version, which is what I always opened and edited. Then when needing the backward version, I saved a new copy with "ver10" (without the quote marks) appended to the filename upon saving.

    Take care, Mike

Um, don't reflexively press Ctrl+S. Choose File>Save As, and there is a Version drop-down list in the Save Drawing d'box.

You can save back as far as version 7.

    My Best,
