Oh and i forgot to mention the trick to my effect is in applying a .5 white stroke to the blended shapes. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

That's what produces the edge highlighting. More blends = a brighter, smoother effect, but more solid looking. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/cool.gif

I'm not sure carygee which effect you're referring to specifically... but in case it's the one i posted, i'm gonna cover my buttocks here with a mini-tute.
