Default PNG Problem - File not getting to optimised size when exporting??

    Hi guys,

The more I do the more comes to light, I have added an image (PNG) I have optimised it to PNG 256 colours, this reduces its file size from 20.4k to only 10.5k - great, so far, when I then export the page the file remains at 20.4k even though the optimizer says it should be at 10.5k - anyone??

For reference the site is http://www.sbfltd.co.uk/new/kestrel-...g-products.htm and the image in question is the house on the right hand side on the green background with wording Kestrel Products.

All elements are individual by the way....

    Thanks

    JLT

You know, 20K is not very big with the speed of most Internet connections today. If you are losing quality with JPEG, then bite the bullet and go with the 20K file. Life is too short to suffer bad graphics.
