Edit 'Eye Catcher' to use as banner - Query

Hi,

Looking to use one of the Eye Catcher banners in the design gallery as a banner and want to be able to:

Adjust transition times of the slides, can't see where to do that?
Change colour of the square boxes with the numbers in. I have managed to change the colour, and when saved it shows the new colour, but when uploaded it is in the original colour?

Any ideas, much welcomed.

I think that changing colours and so on in Xara is a waste of time, because the widgets are placeholders, so you're only changing the placeholder colour. The jquery ,js and .css files hold all that info: they can be edited after export but if you want to go that far, you could use any free jquery widget off the web in the first place.

1. Export your design with this widget inserted.
2. Open index_htm_files folder. You'll see "easySlider1.7.css" and "easySlider1.7.js" files. The adjustments you ask for, can be done editing these two files.
3. To adjust transition times open easySlider1.7.js in any text editor. Find and edit following fragments:

and

pause:			2000,

4. To adjust colors, edit easySlider1.7.css. You'll find color settings in the " /* numeric controls */" section at the and of the file.
5. To have these new modified files exported every time you export your site instead of the default ones, you have to copy them to the support folder. Support folder can be found in the same location with your .web document and it's name is based on it. For example, if your document is "mysite.web", then support folder name is "mysite_web_files". If there's no such folder, create it.
