importing template files from folder

my son gave me this computer with the Xara program on it and he told me to have fun. I am trying to import the templates he has in another folder claled templates, but to no avail. Can anyone assist this older gentleman to get this done. or must i download them from the site again?

What version and product are you using? Your profile just says 6. Kind of vague.
