Vector Spiral

Hi Folks, I'm new to this forum.

Can anyone help with a vector spiral script?

The logarithmic spiral is ideal to create a profile of the centrifugal fan scroll. I have seen the spiral from Mike Williams but this creates a raster line.

I have superimposed a vector (over the raster) and with a few asymmetric nodes, it is not hard to match the curve manually.

Question: Does anyone know the math of where to add nodes and what the slopes should be.

I'm looking for Paint Shop Pro X2 vector script ideas.

You are probably long gone by now seeing as you posted on 27 April.

I used a utility that creates spirals and imported it into Xara Designer Pro. When I look at the spiral in edit mode this is what I see.
