Passive vs non-passive FTP in Publish mode?

Is the Publish mode set to Passive or Non-passive FTP?
Can it be changed and if so, how?

Hi Kelvin the default is 'Auto' so it attempts to make a passive connection and if that fails it will attempt an active connection.

You can download a program I wrote called XaReg to change the settings if you wish. The link is in my signature.
