Smile Internet Explorer 9 dash (-) bug

A customer insists in "fully justifying" his paragraphs. I know this is an old problem with some browsers. But just in case you have any ideas...

On Internet Explorer 9, the dash (on e-TestWord) is being treated as an interruption of the paragraph and it starts a new line before-time. The same happens with other characters. I wonder if Xara can repair this from their end.

    Xara file attached

    Thank you...

Default Re: Internet Explorer 9 dash (-) bug

Instead of typing the dash directly, type using : Ctrl+Shift and then while holding down those two keys, type the dash. From XDP6's help:

A hard hyphen can be inserted by typing "Ctrl + Shift + -" (minus key). A hard hyphen is one that will not cause a wrap at all. This is useful in situations where you have dashes in words that you do not want split at the end of lines.

I just tried it with your file and this works.

    Take care, Mike
