    Default Create navigation bar

Hi again. I have the new WDP7.03 and have noticed that when I draw an object, then select it, and go to Arrange to create a navbar, the option is greyed out. I design most of my own buttons, and have done so in WDP7 by duplicating them and linking them separately. What am I doing wrong? (I'm sure it's something). BTW, I really love the new WDP7...lots of great features.

Add some text to the object, group it then the navbar tool becomes available. Each state of the button design must be a group object containing a text object that can serve as the button label.

Thanks! Worked like a charm. I had tried doing that with "softgroup", but it didn't work. But just plain group did the trick. I'm a happy camper!

You should softgroup with the other button states though - ie you get two groups as a softgroup - for the nav-bar

Thanks again neodeist. I'll remember that as I build the navbar.
