I would like to see the option to save the "simulate print color" option. Or, have this option turned on automatically (if saved as a default or choice by a window asking to turn on) if one is using the cmyk pallet.
Take care, Mike

I really thought you could save as a template and I have just tried to do it but it didn't turn on. It's not a big deal mind you to just turn it on when you are working in CMYK. Personally I don't use it as I use a printed colour chart to work from with values printed on in both RGB and CMYK and use a limited palette so I know what it will look like as SPC is very approx. when in the darker values of reds and blues. Good idea if you could do this and save as template.
Design is thinking made visual.
+1.
Especially when creating a templates for less experienced users.

It's not a big deal to turn on the SPC, but to have the option in the Options - View tab, one would have the complete CMYK Template. Maybe later
There have been posts on this subject as long as your arm, but taking Albacore's advise on having a wet colour chart and values is the way to go for a definite print colour.
