My latest Xara creation. It's actually a remake of an older drawing of mine I did in 1995. For some time I wanted to do a new and improved version. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Xara wood fills were used for the dock.

    Cheers!

    -Bob.

My original drawing is on my site in the "scanned" section. If you're interested.

What I like best is the apparent heart shaped sun.
Was that intentional or a happy accident. Either way it works as a lovely illustration.

Bob, this is a wonderful composition. It's a shame that too many people who aren't familiar with graphics programs will not be able to fully appreciate the effect you were able to create here. Super job!

Bob, I love your drawing, it´s really beautiful. I like how you drawed the faces and the reflection of the sun on the water, but the whole drawing is lovely.
It´s my favourite drawing now, but all the others , which you did, are also very very nice.

I used 3 different wood fills from the Xara CD. I added transparency effects over top for shading and highlights. I didn't do anything to the bitmaps, other than changed it's orientation and size. So that the wood grains seemed to fit the size of wood used on the dock.

    Thanks for the comments

It tells a nostaligic story. Like Gary said the water is great.

Thanks for sharing it with us, it's a real winner.

Cute, cuddly and all very well done. Have you done Artist of the Month yet for the XaraXone Bob??

    You should.

I really like the Garden image with the face. That is really wonderful. I tried to see if it was something that really couldn't be but it totally works. Very Kool!
